My Approach to Therapy
As as Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I work largely from a systemic framework. Every client's concerns are viewed as unique. Therapy is tailored to the specific needs, desires and goals of clients. My approach is comprehensive and integrated, emphasizing all the factors that contribute to problems and how to remedy such factors. We will conceptualize your concerns in the context of your current relationship, as well as other relationships, with the understanding that many problems are grounded in patterns that aren’t working. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to help determine their own understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.
Much of the first few sessions will be spent getting to know you, gathering history and background information, listening to your concerns, and assessing the problem and the context in which the problem is embedded. Together, we will then collaborate to develop goals and objectives.

Although I do not accept any insurances, my fees are structured to be reasonable and affordable for most. I accept all credit/debit cards as well as cash or check. Payment in advance is required to schedule an initial session.

In this time and prior, I have dedicated years of rigorous education and training to provide comprehensive and effective counseling, therapy, and sex therapy services to couples, families and individuals.
